FAQ
Who is HyperRing for?
HyperRing is for people who don’t like carrying stuff. If you’ve ever left home without your wallet, or had your phone die at the worst moment - this is for you. It’s for minimalists, multitaskers, and anyone who values freedom of movement without compromise. HyperRing is unisex and designed to look elegant on any hand.
Why use a ring instead of my phone or card?
Because it’s faster, lighter, and always on you. Phones run out of battery. Cards get left behind. HyperRing is waterproof, worry-free, and never needs charging. It’s not just a payment method - it’s peace of mind, built into something you’ll never forget to wear.
Is it safe to pay with HyperRing?
Yes! Our HyperRings are certified by Visa and MasterCard, and are therefore subject to the highest security standards. When you connect a payment card to your HyperRing, a reference of the card is created, the reference has a different card number. This technology is called tokenization, which is the same way that Apple Pay or Google Pay work.
What happens if my ring gets lost or stolen?
No worries! All you need to do is block your HyperRing from making further payments. You can use the HyperRing Pay app (iOS and android) to remove a payment card from your ring.
How do I connect my payment card?
To set up your HyperRing, simply use the HyperRing Pay app to connect a payment card to your ring. Follow the instructions provided in the app.
The easiest way to make sure your cards work with HyperRing is to request a digital payment card from Curve. Once set up, you can link your existing cards to Curve and connect the Curve card to your HyperRing.
You can also check our list of supported banks to see if your existing payment card can be directly connected to HyperRing. Since only a limited number of banks are supported directly, most users end up choosing the Curve option.
What countries does HyperRing work in?
HyperRing works anywhere that accepts contactless - from cafés to train stations to airport shops. At the moment, it’s only available to residents of the UK and Europe, but we are expanding to the US in the coming months.
